It's with a heavy heart I send my condolences to the Lee Family. May God be with the Lee family through this difficult time.
Having worked with Brent many years, his dedication to public service was second to none. I was fortunate to have known and worked alongside of a great peace officer.

Sheriff Lee was obviously a dedicated lawman. Rather than leaving the situation to his staff, he was out serving the people of his county and paid the ultimate price. God Bless his family, friends and the people of Trinity County.
