It is an honor to be a friend of your grandson, John. You would be very proud of the man he is as I am honored to have him as a friend. He has been a great support and consoler to myself and my husband since my big brother was murdered in the line of duty, July 7, 2016. Rest In Peace and know you that have a wonderful legacy still here.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 81rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace
