Reflections for Sergeant Darrell "Monty" Carmikle
Sergeant Carmikle, I just wanted to let you know how your wife still honors your memory and how she helps other fellow officers families get through these hard times!!!!! Just as law enforcement is a calling, she too has also fulfilled her calling. I have heard her seminar at least twice now and I am deeply moved every time.
Until we meet again, RIP Sergeant

I had the high honor of serving as an Arkansas Wildlife Officer with Monty Carmikle. Monty lived and breathed the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. He was a tireless worker who loved his job and his family very much! I often think about the cases we worked together and how good he made me feel when he told me he was proud to serve with me! Monty, my brother, I was proud to serve with you, too! I will never forget you or the tremendous sacrifice you and your family have made for the citizens of Arkansas! May God hold you in the palm of his hand and forever watch over your beloved family! Thank you for being my friend!
