This needless tragedy so often befalls us us. It happened to me back in 1997 and I was fortunate enough to survive it. Rest now my brother, your work here is done. Enjoy your ride where the roads are smooth and the sun always shines.

Dear Larry, My family and I have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. I am honored to have known you all these years and inspired by your example and zest for living. My heart and prayers are with the family members. As I drove down Coloma to take my son to school I silently prayed for strength for his family, fellow officers and the people here in Rancho that will miss him.
I thank you, his family and friends for supporting him while he watched over Rancho. His service and ultimate sacrafice were a blessing to Rancho.
I pray you find peace and strength.
