James Henry Redmond, III - shot and killed 112 years ago on this date.
I wish to acknowledge our family's loss. I am confirming that you have not been forgotten.
From the time of your death, your 7 year old son, John Lawrence and your 5 year old son, George Theodore clung to their memories of you. Your baby girl Agnes was quite ill prior to your death and died of whooping cough. Your wife Agnes Marie strongly encouraged your sons to hold dear their memories; all while tending to her own loss and grief.
Your memory has been passed on to your grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Though currently your great, great, great grandchildren are too young to learn of your service and sacrifice; they will be told when age allows.
We thank you for the love and memories you left with your family. We thank you for your dedication and service.
Your memory will live on through all generations.
