Mark's smile was infectious, He loved his job, and was a true reflection of what an officer should be. This is a great loss to his family, the community and the Frederick Police Department.

Rest in peace Officer Bremer, A stupid act by a stupid person has taken your life. It is always the good ones who pay when a drunk gets behind the wheel. It should have been him who is dead and not you. Rest in peace brother, you will never be forgotten....

Sherri and I are deeply saddened but we remember the good times--our kids birthday parties, helping each other move into our new homes, football games at Middletown HS, lunch at El Paso. I told Sgt Burch your nickname at MCTC was "Booty." Your were so proud of that badge when you came back to see us. I know that police work was your fire--your passion. Sherri and I are honored to know you. We will be there for Sharon and the kids.

As a veteran of the Frederick City Police, where I served proudly, my heart goes out to Officer Bremer's family and to the entire Frederick City Police Department. I am currently serving in Afghanistan, or I would show my respects personally. I don't think there is any words that can fully express the sense of loss everyone must feel. God bless Officer Bremer and accept him into his flock of other brave men in blue who have gone before him. P.J. Custead, Detective, Frederick Police Department, 1995 - 2002.
