For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep as Christians. For we tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will surely not go ahead of those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the deceased in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

We will meet again, my friend, we miss you terribly.

Family, Friends and Co-workers of Officer Tome,
I am deeply saddened for your loss of such a fine officer and family man. Though I do not know Officer Tome or his family personally, my husband has dealt with him through his police department. Anytime an officer is wounded or killed in the line of duty touches my heart. I pray that God will continue to wrap his arms around all of you and comfort you during this time. I also pray that God will give you the strength to endure the days when your family and friends' comfort doesn't feel quite so nearby.
I know that it is not often said or shown how thankful citizens are for the job that your husband and friend has provided in order to keep all of us safe. I wish to extend my thanks to everyone who serves the general public in such a very important, stressful and sometimes dangerous job. May God keep all of you safe in your continued service in our community and around the world.
To the family, I know words of comfort cannot even begin to heal the sorrow you are feeling. I would like to offer my friendship and support to you should you need anything.
In Christ,
Rachelle Sampere

The following is a Fallen Officer's Prayer that was found while a Pueblo Police Officer visited the N.Y.P.D. Museum & Ground Zero in 2005 Officer's Prayer

Fallen Officer’s Prayer

I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
My Name For All Eternity.
Recorded Here At This Hallowed Place.
Alas, My Name, No More My Face.
'In The Line of Duty' I Hear Them Say.
My Family Now The Price To Pay.
My Folded Flag Stained With Their
Tears.
We Only Had Those Few Short Years.
The Badge No Longer On My Chest.
I Sleep Now In Eternal Rest.
My Sword I Pass To Those Behind And
Pray They Keep This Thought In Mind.
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
And With A Heavy Heart And Bended
Knee, I Ask For All Here From The
Past...
Dear God, Let My Name Be The Last.
When are people going to start driving and quit having their focus some where else? Drivers are much to busy doing other things than knowing what they are doing while driving.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
