Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Sarah Irene Haylett-Jones
Sarah, wanted to let you know that 8 years later your brother Eric is touching the lives of countless brothers and sisters in blue by sharing your story. The good he has done and spread as a result of such a tragedy should make you proud.
Thank you for your service sister, rest easy, we've got it from here.

Thinking of you today..as most days, Happy Birthday! Hopefully, you caught Gunter as he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, he was such a good buddy..and they tried just about everything to make him better...it was his time. Lily misses him, but she did get her cheeseburger birthday "cake" yesterday! These last few months have given us many challenges, but with prayers & hope everyone is doing great. I know you're watching from above....

Been thinking about you all this week, with such a heavy heart...how 6 years ago, you were packing to visit "home"...and in a brief moment, by a poor judgement you were taken from us...So proud to share your "story", you are still such a part of our lives, not just today, but everyday! Sarah,
I just saw the Distracted Driving Awareness Video featurng your parents. You would be so proud of them knowing they are making a difference by sharing their message, it must have taken a lot of courage for them to do this.
Rest in peace and thank you for serving in both military and law enforcement.

Dear Daughter,
I felt compelled to come to your memorial page a leave you a reflection.
I gave blood today at the Red Cross Drive in Coldwater. It is my way of giving back a little to help save a life.
The Memory of Your Beautiful Face was vivid to me as my Blood flowed into the lifegiving vessel.
I think of all the ones who gave thier blood, to so many. And could help to try and save you, So that we might have more time on this earth with our precious girl. Although it saved you long enough, for us to be with You, to tell you we Love You , and send our Love with You, as you slipped away to start your Beautiful Journey Above . . .
Through the Blood of Our Lord & Savior, You now have Life Everlasting . . .
Honey,We Miss You, Love You Forever . . .
Untill God Brings Us Together Again, Love Always, Mom

"One thing I know is this, that the only ones among you that will be happy are those who have sought, and found, a way to serve." A. Schweitzer
Surely, Deputy Jones had found her way to serve, both in the military, and then in law enforcement. She was an asset to both.
RIP, Deputy Sarah Jones

Sarah....5 years since you were taken so tragically. MANY lives have been changed forever by a careless, distracted teenage driver, Bree Meyers.
Yes, many knew you as DEPUTY Sarah Jones and quickly loved and respected you.
Sarah's Fall Harvest last weekend was a great success ! Due not only to the labors of love from your Dad,Mom,Jess and Matt but from all who know & Love SARAH IRENE HAYLETT. We all feel your love and free spirit while helping to raise money for the scholarship. This year your memorial fund will also purchase 4 bullet proof vest to be worn by Explorers.
Time does March on......tears still fall....seeds grow.... reminding us of your story about Ginormous Pumpkins......
