There are no words to tell your family and friends how sorry I am that you lost your heroic fight to live after the crash. I saw the hope fade away over the 2 days I spent with them and it broke my heart. You are loved very much by your family and your law enforcement family. I know that you are with my friends who went before you walking a beat on the golden streets. May you rest in peace and keep an eye on the rest of us. God Bless.

Sarah's life touched mine. Sarah was sunshine when I knew her as a 5th/6th grader at Chicago Street School. I am not surprised that her life was dedicated to serving others. Her light as a child still shines brightly in my memories of her.
Rest in peace, Sarah.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy.
I am new to this site, and I hope you will accept
condolences from a stranger.
I wish I had the opportunity to have known her.
She was so young and such a beautiful spirit.

DON'T GRIEVE FOR ME
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path god laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turn my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Than fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
I believe in God and believe I will see you again.
WE HOPE ALL OF YOU WILL BE SAFE AND WE HOPE THESE FEW WORDS WILL BE JUST A LITTLE OFFERING TO HELP YOU THROUGH THE DARK DAYS AHEAD
