This seems so much more terrible when the officers whom are lost are so young. Her peace now is looking into the face of her creator. May He comfort the grieving that her family and fellow officers are going through.

May you rest in peace .. Although it is never easy to lose a brother or a sister in law enforcement, it always seems harder when we lose someone so young. May God bless your family, friends, and co-workers as they try to make sense of this terrible tragedy. We have the watch from here, dear sister. Rest easy.

I had the privileage to serve with deputy Jones when she was a patrol Officer here in Montgomery, Alabama on 3rd shift. I can quickly think of word to sum her up, "Professional". She was a class act all the way and believed in justice and honesty. I know she was a person with vast integrity and honor. I remember before she moved and lateraled to Indiana, she and I were filmed together cracking jokes on the MPD show. If any family members/friends want that footage, please let me know by contacting MPD and leaving a message for me. We will all miss you very very much Sarah, and our lives and City were made better because of you.
