Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

I tried to write this a few days ago and found that there are no words I can share with you to ease your heartache. That being said please know that I will carry you in my thoughts and prayers not just today or weeks from now but for years to come. Remember she is a hero not for how she died but for how she lived.

I didn't even know you. But I know you loved life. You loved family. You loved people and wanted to make a difference, even if it was just one life turned around.
You played hard and fit in and was the life of the party. People seemed drawn to you and you had a way of comforting those in pain. You brought the best in the worst. I guess I did know you. God had you on loan to us and called you home for service. R.I.P. Deputy Jones. See ya soon

I didn't know you personally. I do know the guys who did. When we found out the news on Saturday, all our hearts sank. They talk about what a great person you were and how much they are going to miss you. Some of the guys are on their way to thank you personally for your sacrifice.
