I did not have the honor of knowing you. I do know your Dad. As I look at your picture I can see so much of him in your face. Strong chin, friendly smile, kind & caring eyes. The pain he is going through tears my heart apart. Your parents are wonderful, wonderful people. What I read from the other's posts rings so true to what I know about your parents. Dedicated, loyal, and courageous. You are definitely your father's daughter. What an Angel you will be.

To the family, friends and department of Deputy Jones:

It is a sad day when a family member is taken from us and although we try hard to understand it, the reason is never clear, but we have to put our trust in God and it is my prayer that the God of Love will wrap his mighty arms around all of you and give you the strength you will need in the coming days, months and years to cope with this untimely calling of one of our family.

I had the distinct privelege of training Deputy Haylett-Jones at the Montgomery Police Academy. The instructors' role at most academy's is to challenge "What about this candidate has drawn this person to want to police, Can this person or does this person possess the qualities of serving communities, cities, state, and this country in such in honorable profession." These questions were answered with resounding reponse from Deputy Jones during the Police Academy. The moment that it was mentioned that she was leaving the Montgomery Police Department was disapponting in the fashion that her desire to serve was answered during the academy and later in the patrol division at the MPD and MCSO. Deputy Jones joined the band of brothers and sisters of that "Thin Blue Line" and will forever be a member, she will truly be missed for the dedication, integrity, honor, and resiliency in which she carried herself performing her duties. Sarah is certainly missed by the Law Enforcement community from the City of Montgomery. Our prayers are with the family during this time.

I didn't know you but officers I'm close with did. I keep seeing the squad cars around town with the blag flags. It's upsetting. Thank you for everything you did while you were here.

I never knew Deputy Haylett-Jones, but as a 23 year vet of ISP I have seen too many of my brothers and sisters across the state and country give the supreme sacrifice. It is a reminder to us to continue to hold the line between good and evil in this world. A world without us would be total choas. Thank you for your service to your country. My prayer is that the family will lean on the Lord Jesus to help them through this. Romans chapter 13 the policeman's authority. God Bless and Keep you all.
