I was saddened to receive the email of the death of Deputy Jones. I am retired from the Montgomery Police Dept and saw where she worked there before moving to Indiana. The death of a fellow officer hurts, but when they worked where I spent 20 years of my law enforcement, it's hurts even more. I pray for her family and she will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace sister. I am very sure you where scared when you where struck by some idiot driver who is to stupid to pay attention to driving. I was struck while in my car just over a year ago while I was assisting a motorist on the freeway here in Az. I am truly sorry that this has happened rest in peace and know that your family along with your agency loves you and will always miss you.

I didn't know Deputy Jones but I was so saddened to read of the tragedy that happened. I hoped everything would be okay with her but that was not to be. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. I appreciate her service to her community and to her country. We need more young people like her. This just proves that none of us have a promise of tomorrow and we need to make the most of each day we have, and treat each other the best that we can.
