Reflections for Officer / Paramedic Bruce Wesley Harrolle

In February, I finally had a chance to get an etching of Bruce’s name on the memorial wall in DC. I never met him, but because I was the dispatcher working the radio the afternoon of Bruce’s accident, he played a large part in shaping who I've become. As another anniversary approaches, I'll be saying prayers for Bruce and his family.

It's the seven year anniversary of a fallen hero. Trooper Harrolle paid the ultimate sacrifice saving two stranded citizens in Northern Arizona. His legacy and memory lives on as his family continues to fight for the survivor benefits of fallen officers in Arizona. He would be proud of his wife Angela. We miss you brother!! I will serve you every day.

You are always remembered. The daring rescues that would have most seasoned patrol officers terrified hanging from a helicopter on a motorized cable line to rescue others on a regular basis. You saved countless lives and we are so grateful! Thank you Officer / Medic Harolle.

Officer/Paramedic Harrolle,
Thank you for saving the people you had the time to save. Those people you chose to save should be very thankful. You could've left those people there and worried about yourself, but your a great man so you worried about the hikers instead. Thank you for your service. Hope to see you up there.
