Uncle Early: It feels like yesterday when you left me. I will always remember you. I was 12 years old but I can still remember that day vividly. The church was over-flowing with people in uniform. I remember thinking that there was no one left in town to protect anyone because they were all at your funeral. We had some great times together and I loved you then and I still love you now. I will continue to keep your grave cleaned and leave flowers there for you so that you will know that I will never forget you. You are our family hero. I know you are happy because you are now with your parents, all of your brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. God Bless and continue to RIP.

ONE MOMENT

In the whisper of the wind,
I felt God embrace me.
As the voice of a loved one,
I heard God speak to me
Looking in a mirror
I saw God smile at me.
One moment and I knew
That God and I were one.

~~~Eternally and Always~~~
I didn't get to say goodbye
You're gone without a reason why
I've loved you all of my life
and then you weren't there
I didn't get a chance to say
how much I cared
I can't even remember the tears
that I cried
All I really wanted was to tell you
Goodbye
When I last saw you I felt I wouldn't
see you again
There was a distance between us
that I couldn't explain
You wouldn't look
at me but I could see the tears
in your eyes
If you knew then
You should have told me
Then I could have said
Goodbye
So many words left unspoken
So many hearts left so broken
My love for you is forever
And that will never die
We'll be together always
Our souls are one with God
Eternally and Always
I'll never have to say
Goodbye
