Sheriff Keller, today is the 100 year anniversary of this shooting. I walk by your obituary in my office daily. Today I will stand in Elsie outside of where you were shot. I will honor you by working this day and up until the anniversary of your death. I will not hesitate to remind the citizens in your county of your sacrifice. God bless.

I spent 27 years in law enforcement, retiring in 2021. Recently my cousin shared with me you were my grandmother's brother, making you my Great Uncle. Even though this happened 100 years ago and not even knowing you, sadness overcame me and I got choked up. Thank you for your service Great Uncle Myles. Until we meet, God Bless.
