Falconer, you were so much fun to work with up in Globe. I remember the days we used to walk the yard, when you were the Overtime King. I remember the laughs we had, and your wonderful sense of humor.
Jehovah, please remember our brother.

I am thrilled to know that the crew came to your aid instead of trying to escape. This gives me hope that rehabilitation can happen. Thank you Sir, for your service. Men like you make our world a better place.

Rest in peace brother, you will not be forgetten. We may work for separate agencies, but our job brings us together. We chose a profession most wouldn't even consider, and you paid the ulitmate price performing a job most people will never hear about.
You served well, Officer Falconer. Thank you.

I never met the fallen officer personally but we are from the same fabric of law enforcement. I hope God blankets his family and keeps them strong though the storm of his passing. He left us too young, I myself am 48 and since viewing this website (a member of Policevets.org), I no longer take life for granted.
I knew it was a reason for the sun to come out as bright as it did on Wednesday, as I looked out my window here in Staten Island, NY.
To family of Correctional Officer Douglas Falconer, may tremendous blessings shower upon you all in this time of need; please accept my deepest condolences...
To all the other officers out there, please be safe and never forget to do your thorough pat frisks, they do mean business; and we have to be about business...
Fraternally,
Anthony White [Retired NYC Correction Officer 6874]

I met Doug when I came to the Globe prison in December '07. Doug was a fun, happy person. His laugh was very infectous. I can still hear that laugh now. I have a great deal of respect for Doug. I will certainly miss him. I know he has been released from service on the Earth and Our Heavenly Father has taken him home. May God Bless you Doug.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death; I will fear no evil: for thou
art with me; thy rod and thy staff they
comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies: thou anointest
my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life; and I will dwell in the
house of the Lord for ever.
