Reflections for Sergeant Patrick C. McDonald
To Patrick Mcdonald's family, friends, and co-workers I just want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Another police officer gone because of the terrible criminals of this world that we live in. He truly made the ultimate sacrafice by doing what loved and protecting us all.
My father SA Barry Lee Bush of the FBI was killed on April 5th 2007. So I know your pain all to well.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with Officer Mcdonald's Famiy and friends during this very difficult time.
Officer Patrick Mcdonald is a true hero, and will never ever be forgotten.
Rest In Peace Sir, let the angels lead you home.
Daughter of Fallen FBI Special Agent Barry Lee Bush(EOW - April 5th 2007)

To you, Patrick, you have my respect- the working, “real” police. I know the feeling when a name check comes back- No Record on File.

Pat I find myself hurting more than most would ever guess. I have lost another piece of myself and more of my faith in the system that is suppose to keep thier peace keepers safe. Like my brothers and sisters I will not stop from putting on my vest and belt but I admit I have have grown bitter with the judges that let these people back out.

The news of a member of law enforcement losing their life in the line of duty is never easy to hear. When you actually had the chance to meet and know the LEO that made the ultimate
sacrice, makes it that much harder to bear.
I am proud to say that I met and competed against Pat McDonald. Pat was a running back on the Philly Blue Flame football team. The Blue Flame are a football team made up of cops and fireman who play in the National Public Safety League. Members compete to raise funds for charity. Pat was like the majority of guys who play in the NPSFL. No shot at the NFL, but a passion for law enforcement and the game of football.Pat made sacrices to play the game he loved. Unfortunately, Pat has made the ulimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The city of Philadelphia is a better place because of the men and women like Pat McDonald of the PPD.I am a better person for having the honor and privledge of knowing PO McDonald.
