There are no words to ease the pain, because death leaves a heartache no one can heal. But, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Kris and Ruger for the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT. She immediately struck me as a person who had her act together. She was bright, articulate, was having a good time and seemed so very competent. What I clearly remember about her was that she and I talked about her relationship with her husband, and her daughter. She loved them both very much and it was obvious to me that she was a very happy, complete person. I envied her. I am so very sorry for her husband, her daughter, her family, and the entire community she served. It was my pleasure to have known her and I am proud she represented the USFS so well in everything that she did. My thoughts and prayers are with her family-
