Mike/Jr,
I cannot believe that you are gone, just isn't FAIR.
I want to say so much but my words are getting jumbled.
I had the honor of working with you, and my husband had the honor of working the street with you. You kept him safe, and for that I am in forever debt to you.
You truly are a HERO in every sense of the word. I know you are now an angel along side of ST. Michael, and you are watching over us. You will be walking along side of us on the beat, and riding along with us while on patrol.
I will always remember that smile that come so easily to you, and how it would light up the room when you walked in.
Thank you for all that you have done, and know that you wil NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTTEN by your brothers and sisters in blue.
To the Weigand Family: I am so very sorry for your loss, but know that the entire law enforcement community is family and will always be there for you.

To the family of Sergeant Weigand;
I am very sorry for your loss. Know in your hearts that Michael is watching over all of us from above, but he is especially watching over you all. Know that he loved his job almost as much as he loved you. That is why police officers like Michael put themselves into harms way every day to serve and protect all of us. God bless your family, and may God hold Michael in the palm of his hand and protect him as he watches over us. Be proud of him, as he made the ultimate sacrifice during his mission to make his town a safer place for the citizens to live. You will miss him terribly, but know that he will never leave your thoughts and your hearts. Ride with Pride Michael, and God bless you.
