Reflections for Trooper Andrew James Stocks
May you rest in the loving arms of Jesus from this day to eternity. To the family of Trooper Stocks, I haven't the gift of words to express my sorrow for your loss. I can only leave you a quote that I hold dear and find fitting in times such as these.
"I pray that our heavenly father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solomn pride that must be your's to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the alter of freedom."

To Trooper Stocks' family,
You are in my prayers as I know the road you started travelling today is a difficult & often lonely one. Know that there are many survivors out here praying for you who will always be here to help and will always remember your hero "Trooper Andrew Stocks" and the sacrifice he made while serving the citizens of N.C. I pray the Lord will wrap his loving arms and carry you through the days you can't make it alone. Thank you Trooper Stocks!

Trooper Stocks,
I meet him but I'm very much sure he served with Loyalty, Professionalism, and Integrity.
I had the privilege to attend the NC SHP Student Trooper Program, and I realized how close the agency was to each other.
Trooper Stocks will really be missed.
The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away

A.J. was one of the best! I'm sorry now that I didn't tell him that often enough. He was quick to make my job easier; once we had three calls pending and he and I were on the phone, so I told him, asking which one he "wanted." He said he'd call right back. He and the others worked it out between themselves and he called me back to say who was taking which call.
To A.J.'s family: you have my most heartfelt sympathies as well as the prayers of my family and my church family. Please remember that we ARE a family, and we're there for you until the end of time!
God bless you all!
