To think that you served longer than the one responsible for your death has even been alive! I haven't the words to say what's in my heart. You were a hedge of protection for us against just such actions as the ones that ended your life. We are grateful and will not forget you or all that you did. Thank you to Officer Nazario and all LEOs now serving or who have ever served. The world is a crazy place, but how much worse would it be without you? My sympathy to your family and department.
A Grateful Citizen

May you rest in peace Officer Nazario. Three officers in the line of duty within 1 year. This is very hard to deal with, but we must be strong and go on with our duties. My prayers go out to the family. May God be with you!

Isabell or Is-sa-bell (as I always called you),you called me just the other day and left a message for me to call you back , you said that you had something private to talk to me about, never got a chance to talk to you,( guess I just thought I would have time). Now, whenever I think of you I'll wonder what it was. It's funny, know matter how many times we hear the saying that tomarrow is not promissed ,somehow we think that it is. Is-sa-belle, you will truley be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Somebody Killed A Policeman Today
Somebody killed a policeman today, and
A part of America died.
A piece of our country he swore to protect
Will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect who shot him will stand up in court,
With counsel demanding his rights,
While a young widowed mother must work for her kids
And spend alone many long nights.
The beat that he walked was a battlefield, too.
Just as if he'd gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won't fly at halfmast,
To his name, they will add a gold star.
Yes, somebody killed a policeman today.
It happen in your town or mine.
While we slept on comfort behind our locked doors,
A cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street,
And he stands at each new rookie's side.
He answered the call and gave us his all,
And a part of America died.
Rest in Peace Officer Nazario. Be our angel in blue - We have the watch now.
