To Anne's Parents: I offer my sympathy as you enter this journey of grieving for your daughter. It takes only an instant to change so many lives. My husband and I saw the report on the Portland, OR news and we were heartbroken to hear it.
There are no adequate words at a time like this. Just know that many people care about you. Many will remember and honor Deputy Jackson and her courage and selflessness.
