Rest easy, my sister. You died doing what you do best, and we WILL NEVER FORGET. You may stand down; we have the watch.
I happened to be in town for military duty, and watched the motorcade carrying your body pass on I-5 today. I saluted you; the least I can do. I cried tears for your tragic, senseless loss. Godspeed; we will carry on for you.

This is a VERY sad day! Anne was an amazing influence on many children and families at the Ranch where she worked before becoming a Sheriff. She not only taught us how to ride, but also taught us respect and patience when dealing with horses. She herself had those qualities....among many others. She must have been an extrodinary Sheriff. We have only fond memories of her, and she will be sorely missed. We are lucky and blessed to have had her in our lives! Thank-you Anne. Rest In Peace! The Sedawies (and "Foxy")

Anne, all of us that were blessed to know you are grieving deeply. I can't believe that I will never see your smile again, laugh at you calling me "Gordy" (you and Fidel were the only ones that did that)or tease you about that old horse of yours (I really did think it was a donkey the first time I saw it). We were all proud of your transformation into a great Deputy and of the dedication with which you did the job everyday.

May all her loved ones remember her with joy!
My family lost a best friend when Ofc. Nick Erfle was killed on duty by gunfire in Phoenix almost a year ago. The unfairness of it is so hard to understand.
Rest in peace and go find Nick up there to help you watch us from above. You will be missed by many.
