Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Anne Marie Jackson

There is a special place in heaven who put their lives on the line for others. Deputy Jackson just from looking at your picture I can see you had a love for life and a love for your job. Godspeed.

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Even though we are unconscious and lifeless in the grave (Ecclesiastes 9:5 & 10), we realize that sleep in death is only temporary (John 11:11-15), through Jehovah's loving - kindness, based on the ransom sacrifice of his son, Jesus Christ, we eagerly anticipate resurrection (John 5:28-29)

We remember Anne when we first hired her at Black Mountain Ranch as a Wrangler, she was SO EXCITED. Anne was loved by all the kids at the Ranch and by us. I remember Anne bringing my horses to me in Montana, just for the price of gas. She spent tne night with us and LOVED the, Big SKY COUNTRY". We are going to MISS you Anne. Thanks for being YOU.

Without your smile, the world has lost a little bit of light. My family misses you more than I can even put into words, and I can't believe it still. How unfair is it that you had to leave us like this?

You are a hero, AJ. I won't forget you. I have a picture of you on my bulletin board, smiling the biggest smile in the world. That's how I will remember you. Rest in peace, and know that one day, we will see each other again.

Working night shift, I sleep with the news on. I woke briefly when this hit and immediately began to pray. There was no name given but all I could do was ask God to welcome his HERO home and to gather the family and friends an co-workers in his arms.
I continue to pray for your family, friends an department. That the people you served will stand up for a life taken too soon. Thank you, my sister in the badge, for showing your true colors - your courage, your dedication, your committment to your department and your community. Thank you for never backing down and standing as an example to the sisterhood that female cops share and to the "brother"hood that all cops share.
Rest in Peace my sister. You are not forgotten. Always a Hero.
