I was one of Mike's staff instructors at the Hampton Roads Regional Academy of Criminal Justice 99 class. He was a bright and motivated student. He loved this job and gave all he had on a daily basis. Mike was an ambassador of our profession and a true humanitarian. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand. There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
