Thank you, Detective Phillips, for standing in harm's way as you defended those who were defenseless, cared for those who were forgotten and eased the burden of your brothers and sisters wherever possible. Michael, you can rest now in the arms of the Lord, knowing that you were a force of good on this earth and that your spirit lives on through the lives of those blessed to have known you.

Dearest family/co-workers of Michael Smith Phillips,
I am so saddened by the loss of your loved one and fellow officer. You don't know me but we are now forever connected as Police Survivors. As a former police widow w/ 2 small children and co-founder of C.O.P.S, I have walked your journey.
Michael valiantly fought the evil of this world and now experiences something far more beautiful than we can even imagine. Something we will have to patiently wait for until the day we too are called "home".
I pray the Lord wraps his loving arms around you all and gives you a peace and strength that can only come from Him during this difficult time.
Be Blessed,
