To the family of Officer Richard Francis, my heart felt condolences. 27rs on the job. Still working at age 60.
Pretty amazing when one thinks about all of the changes
Officer Francis has seen. More amazing that he hung in there
determined to make a difference in such a difficult job. I
will keep the family, friends, co-workers and the department in my prayers. I pray that somehow you find peace and comfort.
Your years of service Sir are commendable. I imagine your
incredible experience was a source of help to the younger
officers coming on board. Our loss is St. Michael's gain.
Take your wings Sir. You have surely earned them.

I didn't watch the news this morning and didn't listen to the radio on the way in to work . My wife called me and told me that you had passed Rich. Even though I did not know u, I had a hard time keeping back the tears today. We all forget how dangerous this job can be. Our sorrow is not because that your death reminds us how easy our lives can be taken, but because we know that you will never grace this Earth again. Us "kids" will miss seeing u. Take care "old timer"
