Cpl. Findley,
May you be reunited with your friends and fellow fallen officers. I pray for swift justice for those who have wronged a family, a department, a state, and a nation by taking a hero in their cowardly actions. While we all have a place on Earth and in Heaven, you have answered your call much sooner. For what reasons, we do not know. But I pray that your family may find some comfort in knowing that you left this world a hero. It takes a very special person to do this work and your sacrifice proves, yet again, that their is still good in the world and we cannot let that be forgotten. May you always be remembered as a hero, and while I never had the opportunity to meet you, I will be mourning you and your family and friend's loss. Whenever a fellow officer is killed, it sends a pain through my heart and a chill down my spine that reminds me we are all mortal. I will be there when your name is read from the Wall in D.C. next year, and a tear will be shed in your passing. Like we always say, you may now rest easy, for your watch is over. We will take it from here, brother. God Bless.
