Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jose Antonio "Tony" Diaz

Your watch is ended. May our Heavenly Father watch over your family and friends during this tragic time. May your soul walk carefully and proudly into everlasting life. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in God’s peace my friend, you deserve it. These are "American Heroes" who just yesterday were women and men just doing their job!

God had received another worthy and honorable brother into His Police Dept. in heaven. Brother Antonio know you are among the elite of law enforcement and know too your family will be cared for by all your brothers and sisters left behhind. Your duty here amongst the evil ones of our society is done and your new duties is among the angels in His kingdom of peace and love. You will not be forgotten nor will your courage, your dedication, your honor and your integrity, They will serve as a model for those who follow in law enforcement here on earth. Rest in peace brother.

Someone Special

Someone special
Died today,
Leaving this world
Lonely, bleak, and gray.
He was a man in blue
With a badge and a gun,
Who left behind
A wife, a mother, a son.
His warm sad tears
Wet the earth as he died,
While his brothers in blue
Wept and cried.

His badge now rests
Upon his still breast,
A shining bright star
Among a dark blue chest.
Though the sun will warm
Another summer day,
The world is so cold
Cause someone special died today.

Deputy Diaz,

It is heroes like you who keep our streets, cities and communities as safe as possible. Your fellow brothers and sisters caught this scum bag and I hope he pays for it. Hopefully his child will grow up and be the opposite of his father.

Thank you to you and your family who made the ultimate sacrifice.

To the family, friends and the Department I send my heart felt condolences. This is another tragic and senseless loss for all. To deputy Diaz three children, know that dad lives in your heart and will be that close in the hard days ahead. To all the officers in this department and everywhere, even though it may not seem like it, there are many citizens who join you in your grief and who understand the sacrifices made every day to keep us from chaos. Deputy Diaz rest in peace and to his co-workers my hope is for your continued safety.
