There is little that consoles the broken hearts of the family
or for that matter fellow officers. There is little that those who care can do to change this although we each wish we could.
But perhaps we can all tell everyone we know about the tragic loss of Deputy Boehm in hopes that people will be alert, drive slower and safely to avoid such tragic accidents as this.
Perhaps in sharing his story another will be saved.
Rest In Peace Deputy, and to the family we who share your sense of loss are many.

Steve worked security with me for many years at White Oak High School. When it came time for me to leave White Oak, I highly recommended Steve to take my place. I was leaving a family at White Oak and wanted to be sure they were left in great hands, and Steve was all that and more! He left us less than 48 hours ago and is already sorely missed. God Bless you Steve. You always were the first to arrive on scene! I guess you beat me again!

Jesus is with us in our most difficult moments,
With His hand out streached, He welcomes us to His
Embrance, to His great peace and love, and He consoles
us tenderly with the presence of His Angels,
Only the Lord can fully understand the depth of your
sadness, Only His healing love can ease your pain,
But I want you to know that my heart is heavy, too
I care for you and pray for you everyday.
I will not leave you comforless I will come to you,
John 14-18
