Our condolences to the family and to Todd's brothers and sisters in uniform. I am the wife of a Fredericksburg Police Sergeant and before he walks out the door, I always say "Be safe" and he responds, "I will, I promise". So to Todd, I say "Be at peace" and I can almost hear..."I will, I promise".

Dear Family, Friends and Co-Workers of Officer Bahr,
As a survivor, each EOW notice hurts no matter who it is or where they are from. You still feel the same pain and emptiness. We are so sorry for your loss and your family will be in our prayers through this difficult time of your fresh grief. May you find a small measure of comfort in knowing there are many people who care. Not gone--just gone ahead! May God give you the strength to face each day.

The following is a Fallen Officer's Prayer that was found while a Pueblo Police Officer visited the N.Y.P.D. Museum & Ground Zero in 2005 Officer's Prayer
Fallen Officer’s Prayer
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
My Name For All Eternity.
Recorded Here At This Hallowed Place.
Alas, My Name, No More My Face.
'In The Line of Duty' I Hear Them Say.
My Family Now The Price To Pay.
My Folded Flag Stained With Their
Tears.
We Only Had Those Few Short Years.
The Badge No Longer On My Chest.
I Sleep Now In Eternal Rest.
My Sword I Pass To Those Behind And
Pray They Keep This Thought In Mind.
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
And With A Heavy Heart And Bended
Knee, I Ask For All Here From The
Past...
Dear God, Let My Name Be The Last.
Again we are here leaving thoughts and prayers to another hero who gave his life in the line of duty, because another person had no value for life. What a loss and shame. We will keep the family and all who knew Officer Bahr in our prayers and thoughts especially in the next few that will be dark for all but there is a rainbow after all.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

My condolences to the family of Officer Bahr. I know that right now it seems as if the world has suddenly gone crazy and that you are all most likely in shock at the loss of your loved one. Please know that there are people around the country who have experienced this all firsthand before you and are sending you their thoughts and prayers even at this very moment. Your officer was a hero and HEROES NEVER DIE!
