I met Todd in 2000. I had moved to Fredericksburg, and decided I wanted to purchase a new rifle. He owned the gun store then, and he sold me my first AR-15. He also spent a lot of time helping me learn how to be a good AR-15 owner
Todd was a stand up guy. He treated people right, and always went out of his way to help people. The world is not nearly as bright a place without Todd in it.

It is brave men and women like Officer Bahr that we as citzens owe our lives to. It is with great sadness and deep sympathy that I send my families condolences to his police family and his own family. I did not have the pleasure of ever knowing him but I thank God every day for people like him. I know that although he will be missed here, Heaven is rejoicing on his arrival. May God bless his family and his department.

My heart hurts.
I do not know Officer Bahr, but he is still my brother. I may be 1600 miles away, but I still feel the pain of losing one of our own.
Next week I will be in Fredericksburg, to visit my family, and I am going to make it a point to stop by FPD to pay my respects.
Thank you Officer Bahr. You will be missed. To your family and friends, please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of many across the nation, and the world.
Rest in peace.

Todd,
I can still here your voice with excitement when you would call about a new "toy" that just got in at the shop. I remember the night clearly when I was on my way back from RRJ and I stopped and checked on a City unit on a traffic stop on Rt 1. I didn't know it was you until I pulled up, and you were excited to show me the knew flashlight you just got.......just checkin' on a brother. Rest on peace brother, you will never be forgotten. You are a true friend and HERO. Our prayers go to Stephanie and the entire family. He will be with us always. (1*)
