Reflections for Police Officer Todd Allen Bahr

I just found this site. Google to tell a friend about you. You gave me advice about my marriage and how a husband supposed to treat his wife and you would never treat your wife the way he did me and tell me that it was not love. I took your advice and that saved my life. I am so happy that you crossed my path. It really hurt when you got killed trying to save another woman life. I will never forget you. I thank God for being able to meet you the beautiful soul you where. Rest in paradise.

Todd,

The other day an officer asked me about the memorial bracelet I wear and I got to tell your story. You’re still making a difference!

You ride with me on patrol every day. Can’t believe it’s been 13 years…

Hey Todd! It’s been a long time!! It’s hard to believe twelve years have passed, and how much things have changed. The police department is SO different now, as is the world. Most everyone you worked with have gone mostly by retirement, a few changed departments, and some just got out of law enforcement. You have been greatly missed, and groups of us still meet every year at the cemetery to remember you, tell stories, and of course, enjoy a YooHoo!! Til we meet again....Barry

I knew Todd when he owned and operated DAMAGE INC. FIREARMS here in Fredericksburg prior to him joining the police dept. I used to hang out at the shop several times a week and talk guns with him. He was a fantastic person and friend. I was sickened by the news once I heard of his passing and the events that led to it. I think of him every time a I drive past his old gun shop. He was an asset to our community and is missed dearly.

Yet another year has passed but it still feels like just yesterday! Can still smell and feel the stagnant mugginess of that night. Think of you and miss you everyday! Forever in my thoughts, you will never be forgotten! Know you are looking out for us

I cant believe that its been so long since you were called home. I often think about the times we hung out talking guns and gear. Know that you will never be forgotten and that your legacy lives on. Miss you brother...

Todd you are missed everyday. I know live on though. Your deeds will "NEVER" be forgotten. Everyday we honor your memory and we do it not because of the way you died. Because "THE WAY YOU LIVED."

I feel so unlucky to have never met you, Todd. All I can ever do is ask my fellow FPD Officers what kind of man you were and live vicariously through them. The more I know, the closer I feel to have known you. I will continue to be there to thank you at your resting place every single year.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Hi Todd... it's been 3 years and your birthday is coming up... I think of you everyday and miss you more and more. I had a fundraiser for you and all the other fallen officers... mom and dad were able to come to it... they finally got to see me ride :) My friends told me that they could really tell I was riding for you, because they had never seen me ride so well... I was riding for you that day...I love you and miss you... happy birthday...xoxoxo
