I Remember the first time you rode with on patrol you came to work dressed and ready to go. You always asked questions and you always took my input. But I think the best thing that I saw about you is that you had fun doing job. You treated people fairly and equal. I never once caught you without a smile on your face or without some hilarious joke. But most of all you made the job fun. I wish I could bring you back but I can't.my family and my wife love you and wish you were still here. You were the best i ever had the pleasure to work with and call my friend but you were more than just a friend you were Family. Rest In Peace My Friend you deserve it we love you and I will see you again.

Everett was the greatest Carthage Police Officer that I have ever met. I met them all and the others couldn't ever be as great as he was. Everyone respected him, not because of his badge but because he was a great person. I know that he worked for other agencies and him and my husband cracked up alot. He will be missed terribly. We all loved him. Anyone that had the chance to meet him did. We love you Everett, keep on looking out for us and we will see you in heaven. *MUAH*
