Well brother, it has been 13 years tonight since your accident. Talking to fellow officers about that night and reminiscing about all the good times and goofy things we all did together. Carthage Police Department will never be the same without you. Miss you! Keep a watch over us while we continue to patrol the streets we used to patrol together.

Officer Dennis,
Although I did not know you I spoke to your mother today. Just by the tone in her voice I can tell that she misses you very much.
Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Hey buddy, where has the time gone?? It does not feel like 7 years has already passed since you went home. I will never forget the phone call I got as units continued to get on scene with you. It was a very empty and helpless feeling. I was going through my collection of badges and came across the star you gave me about 8 years ago and you have been on my mind. You are not forgotten buddy, watch over all of us until we come home to see you.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

I would like to thank all the officers for the sweet, kind, prayers you all have sent to us. It isn't easy to watch your Mom going through everyday without her son. Its also hard to watch his and my brother go through this heartbreak as well as me.
Our Mom has always tried to teach us to touch many lives as we could and I'm glad Everett touched so many. A special thanks to our family tring to be there for us and also for his friends who had wished their condolences for us. Knowing he touched so many lives made us happy.
At least I can say he died doing what he loved, he loved going to work everyday. It has been hard losing a brother to me and as well as his little brother and I know as well it is difficult losing a son by watching my Mom. If it weren't for family and friends we probably wouldn't have pulled through. Thank you for liking the funeral that Me, My Mom, and Jordan had put together.
Thank you,
Breanna

Wow, the last time I made mention on here was August 5, 2009. Don't think for one second I haven't had you on my mind since then. Miss you kid. I'm working on getting tri-cert now. Finished my EMT in Feb. this year and working towards my medic. I work for Champion now and trying to find somewhere to reserve to keep up my LEO license. I miss your smiling face, keep watch over us friend. I love to watch old videos of you or go through old pictures, wish you were still here. Later friend, keep watch over us.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
I pray for the solace of all those who love and miss you. I share your mother's anquish in losing a beloved son and hold her in my heart today as I know that both the pain and pride are forever. Surely losing a child has to be life's greatest sorrow.
Rest In Peace.

(Deep breath).........
Where do i start? So much has happend since you have been gone and i would have wanted to share with you. So many things have changed since you have been gone that would have been so disappointing to you. A lot of us need you back in our lives. You brought true friendship and many happy times. Laughter never stopped when around you. Not a day has gone by that i have not missed you or thought abt you, but i knw you knw that. I truly beleive you hear my talks i have with you. Just wish i could hear your reply. A friendship like your will never be replaced. I love you Everett and will forever even with you gone.
