I want to thank all of you for your kind words and support, I hope you all know that his family is doing well. I have followed in my father's footsteps and pursued a career in law enforcement. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of him.

I miss you, dad. I hope I have made you proud.

Agent Garcia,

I had the honor and pleasure of researching your name in a class I recently participated in called Blue Courage. You Sir, are truly an example of what nobility in policing means. You left your mark for others to follow and obviously had a positive impact on those that served with you. You are gone but not forgotten. May God continue to bless your family, friends, and brothers/sisters in blue.

To The Family and Loved Ones of Aaron Garcia:
My name is Keith Johns. I lived in the City of Indio,Ca. for 30 years and am a real big train and railroad fan. I used to travel alot along the railroad tracks to watch, photograph, listen and talk to the railroad people. I had met with Mr. Garcia on many occasions while he was performing his duties as a Special Agent. He was always a good person to me and always treated me with respect. I always tried to do the same for him. I would see him anywhere from Palm Springs over towards Yuma, Az. He always remembered me from the Blue Toyota 4-Wheel Drive Truck that I own. I was very sad to hear about his unfortuniate accident. He was a special and nice person to me even though I did not work for the railroad! May God Bless He and His Family.

To those who loved Agent Garcia, my heart goes to you all. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. It's been a long hard road, and even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure Aaron will always be a part of yours.

It takes a special person to put their lives on the line everyday to make this world a little safer for us all. I know many of these men never would've thought of themselves as "heroes" but they were in so many ways. It's sad that it they had to lose their lives for some of us to see that. Having said that, thank you Agent Garcia for helping to make this world a better place. You will not be forgotten here in Winnipeg. I know this isn't a very manly thing to do, but if you happen to run into Dennis up there, please give him a big hug for the kids and I. Dennis was a good man and we miss him more than words can say.

Wishing those who loved you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne
