To the family of Officer Liczbinski:
We were sickened and heartbroken to hear of your loss.
Our hearts, prayers and thoughts are with you during these terrible dark days. Stephen has paid the ultimate price, for simply trying to do his job, and is a true hero.
Another warrior for Saint Michael!!
Three officers shot and killed within a matter of four days in America....a week before Police Memorial Week in Washington, DC...is this the legacy and history America wishes to leave future generations?? Our lawmakers had better wake up!!! It's time to get VERY TOUGH on these killers of Police Officers!

I am living away from Philadelphia for over 20 years, but it still tears at my heart to read of the violent episodes from my hometown. All the men and women who enforce the law are entitled to the greatest admiration and respect, and those who give their lives in the line of duty are heroes who will be missed.
My heartfelt condolences to the family.
Rest in Peace, Sgt. Liczbinski!

I am a Superior Court Judge in Columbus, Georgia. Myself and thousands of others are saddened any time we lose one of our "domestic soldiers" as I call our public safety officers. We send sympathy to his family from all over the country and sincerely thank Sgt. Liczbinski for his service and ultimate sacrifice he made for all of us. You and he are in our prayers and our thoughts.

The City of Philadelphia is mourning again. This is third Philadelphia Officer to be murdered in 2 years. On May 8, 2006 we lost Officer Gary Skerski, then on October 31, 2007 we lost Officer Chuck Cassidy. I am typing this reflection with tears in my eyes for the three wives who have lost their husbands, the 8 children who have lost their fathers and for the city of Philadelphia who has lost 3 great men. To the Liczbinski family please know that we can not even begin to know your pain but that your are in so many of our thoughts and prayers. To the Skerski & Cassidy families also know that your loved ones are thought of often and will never be forgotten.
