Reflections for Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski
The Creator asked "Are there any who would volunteer to protect the sheep from the wolves?"
"I will!", shouted Stephen Liczbinski as he boldly stepped forward.
"Stephen, you do you realize that the wolves sometimes get the upper hand?"
"I do."
"And still you volunteer?"
"Yes, Sir. Some one of us must show the wolves that there are guardians willing to pay the ultimate price. The sheep don't realize how badly they need the protection."
Fair winds to you Sgt. Fair winds.

May God hold you in His arms as your Brothers and Sisters work day and night to capture thin dredge of society. My heart skips a beat each and every time over the last eighteen years that one of our own was gunned down and you sir have earned your place in Heaven. May God be with your family as the city prays for their recovery.

St. Michael, Heaven's glorious Commissioner of Police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises of all undesirables, look with a kindly and professional eye on your earthly force. Give us cool heads, stout hearts, hard punches, an uncanny flair for investigation, and wise judgement. Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers, and impervious to temptations. You know, St. Michael, from your own experiences with the devil, that the policeman's lot on Earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration. And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your Heavenly Force, where we will be as proud to guard the throne of God, as we have been to guard the city of men. Amen.
May St. Michael meet you upon your arrival and help you to rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and his department.
A man, HERO, has lost his life. A wife, mother, father, children, brother(s), sister(s), aunts, uncles have all lost a loved one and for what????? A few lousy bucks.
I pray that GOD will protect all law enforcement officers as we try to protect society from it's self.
