This is a very brave man. I hope that the citizens in the community which he served truly appreciate his commitment and sacrifice to their safety. May the ruthless criminals responsible for this murder be brought to justice and sentenced to the most severe penalty. Every coworker and family member can be most proud to know that Sergeant Liczbinski's actions were a true testament of his character. I salute you for your bravery. May your bravery, commitment and sacrifice never be forgotten! My condolences to all of your family and coworkers. AC

I live far away and did not know Sgt. Liczbinski, but I am heartbroken as I read of his death. The tears are falling as I type. Yet I know my anguish and grief are nothing...NOTHING...compared to yours, his family, friends, and PPD family. May our Heavenly Father hold all of you close to His heart and comfort you as I'm sure Sgt. Liczbinski did for his children when they were hurting. Talk of him often, tell stories, share memories. Cry for him and let the tears water your memories until they spring up and begin to displace the sadness. As time passes, there won't be as many tears, but there will always be tears. That's because the root of the tears is the love you had for him. You are in my prayers.

May God Grant Sgt. Liczbinski's Family, Fellow Officers, and Friends, the Serenity to accept the things they cannot Change, the Courage to change the things they can, and the Wisdom to know the difference...May we never forgets this Warrior's sacrifice. Rest in Peace Blue Angel.

God bless my family when I am away,
Leave the lights on I'll return from harms way,
Grant me courage and strength to protect others each day,
So they live in peace without worry, fear or dismay,
Bless those who have fallen given their life for another
May their spirit live on from then and forever,
Return me home to my family at the end of each night,
May I pass through the door before the morning's first light,
Shall I give my life for another before the dawn breaks today,
God bless my family when I am away.
