Reflections for Trooper James Scott Burns
Your watch is ended. May our Heavenly Father watch over your family and friends during this tragic time. May your soul walk carefully and proudly into everlasting life. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in God’s peace my friend, you deserve it. These are "American Heroes" who just yesterday were women and men just doing their job!

Hearts break and seem to never heal. There seems to be a deep black hole without an end or light in sight. Hearts will heal, the blackness will slowly give way and the light will shine again. You will yet praise the Lord. Scott was only here with you, on Earth, as your son, husband, daddy, friend for such a short space in time, but you will spend an eternity together in Heaven.
You are diligently covered with our prayers. May the Lord bath you in His abundant peace and strength. And may you guard your heart with all diligence. In Jesus name, we pray.
