Chief Barrow, according to my grandmother, is my great (x3) grandfather. I sure wish I could hear some of his stories. One day we will meet and I'm sure we will sit around the fire and share L.E. stories along with my dad (Gil Murrell/previous reflection). What a great time that will be. I've been in law enforcement for 6 years now and would love to see or have a picture of this brother in blue/relative as would my dad. If anyone could help please contact me at the Rincon Police Department in Effingham county Georgia.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 99th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

On this the 95th anniversary of your death your sacrifice and service are remembered.
Rest in peace as you patrol with St. Michael and all fallen
heroes in heaven.
As I read the incident I am struck by the citizens who mobbed the jail to get to your assailant. While this is not the way,
I am struck by the sense that all those citizens must have valued you and your service as we still do today.
