Dad, another year is coming to a close. As I look back on the last few years, my heart aches for all that you have missed. Your great-grandson, Knox, is an amazing child! He is so very smart and has the biggest heart! He calls me Hunnie! He has your eyes! Courtanie and Aaron are wonderful. Both have good careers and are the absolute best parents in the world! Brittanie is doing fantastic. She is so like me in so many ways. She is in the insurance field... Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Sean retired in January 2017 due to lung issues from being deployed to Iraq. He is loving his retired life. I am still active with the West Texas Ladies of Law Enforcement. I bleed blue! I am so very happy. Job, family and life in general is good. I think of & miss you daily. I Love You Always! Merry Christmas, Dad!

Dad,

Happy Birthday! I know you are celebrating in Heaven with MeMaw and PaPaw! I am sure it is a site to behold!!! I sure miss you! We had a pretty big celebration here over the weekend. Courtanie got married to the love of her life, Aaron Cisneros! They had a beautiful baby boy back on May 25th! His name is Knox Dean Cisneros. He is gorgeous, I know you you are up there smiling down on them! Linda, Tara and her family came to the wedding. Sandy and Squeaky were with them. It was great to see them all. I didn't get to visit much, I had to supervise the whole shindig! It went well and was a beautiful ceremony! You were missed! I love you and miss you every day! Your daughter, Sammie Kay

Dad -

A fellow officer contacted me today. He rode from Virgina Beach to Washington D.C. in 2009, honoring fallen officers. He was given a bracelet with your name on it. He read your bio and rode in you honor. He found me on facebook and asked if he could send me the bracelet. He felt it belonged in our family. His name is Frank Patercity from North Carolina. He is a proud officer and Ex-Marine. He was very interested in your career and family. I think he and his family will become dear friends. It has been almost 5 years since you left us and it doesn't get easier. I miss you so much. Brittanie is almost 20 and about to graduate college. Courtanie is 18 and graduating high school this year! She misses her Papa so much!!! She has taken every picture of you and has them on display in her room. I know you will be here in spirit on May 26th to watch her graduate. There are so many times I think of something to tell you and it hurts not to be able to hear your voice. I simply look to the heavens and share with you. Keep smiling down us and keep us under your protective arms. I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!
