As the wife of a motor officer, hearing a motorman down is especially sensitive. But I also know that you guys would not have it any other way than being motors. I also know that escorts are incredibly dangerous -- but that when it comes to high-profile escorts, there isn't a motor officer around that would say, "aw, maybe next time"!
To your wife and children: I can't even imagine the heartbreak that this day brings. The moment I heard, my heart grew heavy and the tears began to flow. I don't know you and may probably never meet you, but from today on, I will pray for you.
Senior Corporal Victor Lozada-Tirado, today and forever, you are a true HERO!

A motorman will ride in the heat, cold, rain, day or night.
We are the few that many stop and watch.
A motorman must be sharper, pay attention to detail and more fearless than all others.
Thank You for ALL of the above!

I was heartsick when I heard this news. Here in Toledo, we just passed the 1 year anniversary of the death of Det. Keith Dressel. We know how painful the loss must be for this officer's community and family. He will never be forgotten.
