My brother paratrooper and time wearer,
You are missed by many. I can still hear your voice when we would part ways saying, “Keep eyes in the back of your head John!
Thank you for being a friend and mentor.

Officer Holland, hard to believe it’s been 22 years since you left us. I remember prior to my hire with the Delaware State Police when I was a young DSP “wannabe” working at Strawbridge & Clothier in Loss Prevention with your nephew. DSP would bring their K9’s in there after hours to train and you would train with them from time to time while all of us police hopefuls working in LP would sit and watch. You’d be extremely, extremely proud of your nephew and the amazing job he’s done with MSP over the last 23 years but I’m sure you’re well aware of all he’s accomplished during his tenure there. Thank you for your service and please know that your sacrifice is one that will never, ever be forgotten by your LE brethren. Rest in peace always.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 12th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace
