Hey Sarge, No more correcting reports. Instead, correct us all from up above. Look down on us and protect us from the mindless perps that saturate our city streets. Maybe give us a tap on the shoulder when we might be in danger. You will truly be missed.

Well Bill,

Its time for the last roundup. Earlier in the week I saw you walking down the hall and thought about your days before Kirkwood when you were a true cowboy. You were a role model for many and a rock for all. I'll miss you coming to me explaining what one of your officer's did with an accident report that needed a little adjustment. You were one who would listen when someone needed to talk and one who would act when talk wasn't enough. You always were there for you men and defended to the end.

Adios Cowboy...

Sarge...I will miss you in the court room and I will miss your "okeydoodle!" I will miss your smile and I will miss your hat. You were a true gentleman and a wonderful police officer. We may say goodbye, but you will always be with us and we will all work hard "together" to get past all of this. My prayers to your family. May they get stronger by reading how much you meant to all of us. Love, Kathy
