Reflections for Police Officer Randal David Simmons
With Heartfelt Sympathy...
May it console you to know
others care,
Think of you warmly,
and in every prayer,
Ask God to bless you
with courage to bear
the sorrow that now fills your heart.

Today is a very SAD DAY for the family, friends and LAPD for the loss of a great WARRIOR and HERO.
Today is a GREAT DAY for the Heavens - A day in which SWAT Officer Simmons may stand at Arms with the Great Michael the Archangel and guard the Great Gates of Heaven.
My Heart, Soul and Wishes go out to family, friends and Brothers in Blue.

My deepest thoughts and prayers go to your family, friends, and co-workers during this tragic time...You are a true hero to all of the citizens of the City of Los Angeles, the State of California, and our wonderful country. I wish I could have been there to help you during your moment of truth---we would have suppressed this evil together, or would have fallen beside each other while trying. This is the bond that your brothers in uniform hold onto each day we go to work.
I've faced similar circumstances as those in which you fell. But by the grace of God, I had a reprieve of fate. Thank you for your selflessness in not only today's encounter, but for your entire adult life of serving to make our world a better place. We will continue these efforts for you now that you are gone. Salute.

RANDY, I JUST WANT YOU TO NOW THAT YOU ARE BEING THOUGHT ABOUT ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES. WHILE I WAS IN A DEPARTMENTAL MEETING IN MISSISSIPPI I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE ABOUT ONE OF THE MOST DECORATED AND PROFESSIONAL SWAT OFFICER BEING AMBUSHED AND FATALLY SHOT WHILE MAKING AN ENTRY. RANDY, IN YOUR 27 YEARS OF SERVICE ONLY GOD KNOWS HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU SAVED AND THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT YOUR 27 YEARS OF SERVICE MADE A IMPACT ON LOS ANGELES, THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND THE UNITED STATES AS A WHOLE. YOU ARE GOING TO BE GREATLY MISSED AND THE COMMUNITY WILL FEEL THE IMPACT OF THIS TRAGIC INCIDENT. THOUGH YOU OR YOUR FAMILY WAS NOT READY FOR THIS.....GOD CHOSE TO RETIRE YOU AND BRING YOU HOME. MY FAMILY AND I WILL SAY A PRAYER FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. BOTHER YOU WILL LIVE ON FOREVER WITH THE THINGS YOU HAVE SHOWN THE HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF OFFICER THAT SURROUNDED YOU.

To all who knew P.O. Randy Simmons, we here at the Internet Radio send our deepest condolences, prayers and thoughts to all who knew him.
Another wonderful officer taken from us by someone who had no value for another life. What a tragedy
The following is a Fallen Officer's Prayer that was found while a Pueblo Police Officer visited the N.Y.P.D. Museum & Ground Zero in 2005 Officer's Prayer
Fallen Officer’s Prayer
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
My Name For All Eternity.
Recorded Here At This Hallowed Place.
Alas, My Name, No More My Face.
'In The Line of Duty' I Hear Them Say.
My Family Now The Price To Pay.
My Folded Flag Stained With Their
Tears.
We Only Had Those Few Short Years.
The Badge No Longer On My Chest.
I Sleep Now In Eternal Rest.
My Sword I Pass To Those Behind And
Pray They Keep This Thought In Mind.
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
And With A Heavy Heart And Bended
Knee, I Ask For All Here From The
Past...
Dear God, Let My Name Be The Last.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Our sincerest sympathy to the family of Officer Simmons, and his LAPD family as well. A coward dies a thousand deaths – the brave man once. Officer Simmons was obviously a brave man who deliberately put himself in harm’s way to save others. May he always be remembered and honored.
