Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Randal David Simmons

It is a sad day when we loose a member of the family, even when its a member I don't personally know. Our prayers go out to the family members left behind. Please keep the knowledge in your hearts that there is no greater love than to lay your life down for another. I don't know all the details but as officers and especially SWAT officers we lay our lives down for one another every day. Ofc Simmons it is now time to rest in heaven for you have paid your dues. Know that your brothers and sister will stay and fight the fight until we someday meet in the presence of our Almighty Father and Lord Jesus Christ. Blessings

May God Bless you and your family Officer Simmons. The City of Los Angeles truely lost a protector, a decent man, and one who stood up against all the bad. No one will ever truely know the lives you have touched. For the family and friends, and loved ones who may read this, let it be known that though Randy is gone today, he is in Heaven keeping the streets safe, taking "point" and will forever be watching over.

To the family of Officer Simmons,

My heart grieves with your family today. In February 1994, LAPD Officer Christy Hamilton, my aunt and my hero, was shot and killed responding to a domestic disturbance call. She died at Northridge Hospital. There are no words to describe what your family is experiencing, but please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many.

May God watch over us all.

my family used to go to Glory, officer simmons church. i did not know him personally, but i did know his work. he worked with the kids ministry and did everything he could to take the message of Jesus Christ to the community. everyttime is saw him he was always positive, upbeat and very friendly. his family is in our prayers, i know there is nothing that can be said to ease this ultimate tragedy in their life, but keep looking up to the most high GOD, he is your strength and your comforter. one thing i know for sure, randall simmons is with Jesus right know and forever and you will be reunited with him again.
