Another Officer has fallen, Lord, You must have had a very special reason for needing her now, which is unknown to us. Officer Cotton is now standing her watch in Your Kingdom. She watches and now protects ALL of us. God bless you Officer Cotton, and thank you for all your time of service and God bless your family for allowing you to serve. Dear Lord take care of her, for she is special and you now have another fine Officer.

To the family, friends, and the New Orleans Police Dept. You will be in my prayers. I thank God for blessing us with this beautiful lady for a short time. From what I have read to me she is a true American Hero in every sense of the word. Her picture on this memorial page says it all. As I come out of retirement to go back on the road as a S.C. State Trooper I will carry her memory with me along with the many, many close friends and other fellow officers who have given their lives for their community and this country.
