First and foremost, my sincere and very deep sympathies to the loved ones, and fellow officers of Detective Ridley. I pray to my Lord that He will somehow comfort you all, and help you through these very difficult times.
After that, I am afraid that the best that I can say is that I genuinely hope that there are those who can and will actually learn the very necessary lessons from this needless act. But I very seriously doubt that. Which means that attrocities like this, will only continue.

First my heart goes out to this young man's parents, he could have been my child and I know that their world has changed forever. There is no money, promotion, awards, memorials that can bring back this child. I will continue to pray for the family and more for our police officers. May the family receive the strength and peace that only comes from God.
